Channel Chooser

Most people pick a channel by habit, or by whatever is already open on screen. Choose on purpose instead: how complex the content is, how fast you need a reply, how much emotional load it carries, and whether it must survive as a record. Load a situation, read it on the four dials, and watch seven channels re-rank themselves — then compare your read with an experienced one.

1 · Load a situation

2 · Read it on the dials

Where this message belongs

Two rules cover most of the rest. Bad news and negotiation go to voice, and the record goes to writing. And the more people who must not misunderstand, the more it belongs in writing — corridors are excellent for speed and terrible for accuracy at scale.
