The Proof Ledger

A single paragraph can hold a hard fact, a modelled estimate, a causal leap and a personal judgment — each needing a different kind of proof, each failing in a different way. Work through this staffing memo one sentence at a time: name the kind of claim, then add the exact proof it is missing. The memo on the right rebuilds itself as each line becomes something you could defend tomorrow.
The draft memo · pick a sentence
Every line below is the kind of sentence that sails through a review and falls apart the moment someone asks a question.
Step 1 · What kind of statement is this?
Step 2 · What proof is it still missing?
The working test for every sentence: if someone challenged this tomorrow, what would I show them?
The memo as it currently stands
Dashed red = a claim you could not defend. Solid = repaired, with the added proof marked.
